Safety regulations for landlords

Changes to the latest edition of the “Wiring Regulations” (British Standard 7671) mean electrical installations in private rental properties must be inspected and tested by a qualified electrician at least every 5-years.

A copy of the EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) must be given to existing or prospective tenants. It must also be made available to the local authority on request.

When you book an EICR with us, our electrician can provide the report the same day. Remedial or further investigative work needed to be compliant will be quoted at a fixed price.
